Privacy Policy
How MyLovelyTools handles data, minimizes collection, and keeps processing private by default. Last updated: April 4, 2026.
Privacy by Default
We design MyLovelyTools so that personal files and content stay on your device whenever possible. The actual file processing for most tools happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the files or content you process for profiling, advertising targeting, or model training.
Information We Collect
For most tools, we do not collect the files, text, or data you process because the work happens directly in your browser.
Basic technical information (such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, and request timing) may be processed temporarily as part of normal website delivery, security, and infrastructure operations.
Aggregated usage analytics (such as page views and approximate location at country level) are collected via Google Analytics 4 to help us improve the site. See the 'Analytics' section below.
How Tool Data Is Processed
Most utilities on MyLovelyTools are fully client-side. That means your file or payload is handled locally in the browser and is not uploaded to us.
For tools that require limited server interaction, we minimize exposure, use encrypted transport, and avoid retaining user content beyond what is necessary to complete the requested action.
Temporary Data and Retention
If a tool requires temporary server-side handling, any transient data is deleted automatically after processing or expiry.
We do not keep user content longer than operationally necessary, and we do not use processed content for model training, advertising, or profiling.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms to operate the site, measure aggregate usage, and (where you consent) serve advertising.
Strictly necessary storage: used for site functionality such as remembering your tool preferences. This storage stays on your device.
Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and improve the site. These can be disabled by declining analytics in our cookie banner or by using a browser extension such as Google Analytics Opt-Out.
Advertising cookies: set by Google AdSense and its partners (including the DoubleClick / DART cookie) to serve and measure advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads at https://www.google.com/settings/ads or learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
In jurisdictions that require prior consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, etc.), non-essential cookies are not set until you opt in via our consent banner.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. GA4 may collect information such as IP address (truncated by Google), device and browser type, pages viewed, and session duration.
This information is processed by Google on our behalf in line with their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can disable Analytics tracking by declining analytics consent in our banner or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display advertising on some pages. Google and its third-party vendors use cookies and identifiers to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our site or other sites on the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting https://www.aboutads.info.
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we obtain consent for personalized advertising before such cookies are set, in line with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
More information about how Google uses data when you use partners' sites or apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-Party Services
In addition to Google Analytics and Google AdSense (described above), we use standard hosting, content delivery, and DNS providers to operate the site. These providers process minimal technical information solely to deliver the service.
External links such as social platforms or referenced documentation sites are governed by their own privacy policies once you leave our site.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar regulations. These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and the right to object to certain processing.
Because we collect very little personal information directly, most requests will relate to data processed by Google Analytics or Google AdSense; you can exercise those rights by following the opt-out links above or by contacting us at the address on our Contact page.
Residents of California have the right to opt out of the 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can do so via the cookie banner.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether a given file or dataset is appropriate to process with any online service, including privacy-first ones.
If you handle highly regulated or sensitive information, review your own legal and compliance obligations before use.
Children's Privacy
MyLovelyTools is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or infrastructure changes.
When we do, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
