Why Convert SVG to PDF?
SVG is an excellent format for scalable graphics on the web, but it's not always suitable for printing or document sharing. Converting to PDF gives you a universally compatible, print-ready document.
Our converter rasterizes SVG graphics at their native resolution in your browser, then embeds the result into a properly-sized PDF page using pdf-lib. SVG dimensions and viewBox attributes are parsed automatically for accurate rendering.
Everything runs entirely in your browser. No server uploads, no registration, no waiting. Your SVG files stay private and the conversion produces clean, well-structured PDFs instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my SVG files uploaded to any server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, inspected, or stored by any server — they stay on your device from start to finish.
How are SVG dimensions determined?
The converter reads the SVG's width/height attributes or viewBox to determine dimensions. If neither is present, it defaults to 800×600 pixels. Dimensions are capped at 4096px to prevent memory issues.
Can I merge multiple SVGs into one PDF?
Yes. Upload several SVG files and choose 'Merge into one PDF' to create a single document where each graphic is a separate page.
Is the SVG rendered as vector in the PDF?
The SVG is rasterized to a high-quality PNG before embedding in the PDF. This ensures maximum compatibility across PDF viewers and preserves the visual appearance exactly.
Does this work offline?
Once the page has loaded, all libraries are cached locally. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with no network calls required.
