Why Extract Pages?
Sometimes you only need a few pages from a long document — a contract, a specific chapter, or a set of diagrams. Extracting lets you create a focused PDF without unnecessary pages.
Our tool gives you two ways to select pages: click thumbnails in the visual preview, or type page numbers and ranges. Both methods produce a single new PDF containing only your chosen pages.
Everything runs entirely in your browser. No server uploads, no registration, no waiting. Your documents stay private, and extraction completes in seconds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my files uploaded to any server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your documents are never uploaded or stored anywhere — they stay on your device.
How do I specify which pages to extract?
You can click thumbnails in the page preview, or switch to range mode and type page numbers like '1-3, 5, 8-10'. Both methods let you pick exactly the pages you need.
What is the difference between Extract and Split?
Extract Pages creates a single new PDF containing only the pages you choose. Split PDF divides a document into multiple separate files — one per page or per custom range.
Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?
We attempt to open encrypted PDFs using the ignoreEncryption flag. Files with owner-only passwords usually work. Strong user passwords may fail — remove the password first.
Is page order preserved?
Yes. Extracted pages appear in their original order within the new PDF, regardless of the order you selected them.
Is there a page or file size limit?
No hard limit. Processing runs in your browser, so the practical limit depends on your device's available memory. Files with hundreds of pages typically work fine.
